My washing machine suddenly started stopping in the middle of every cycle and sometimes it won’t drain properly. I already checked the filter but the problem keeps happening. Is this usually an expensive repair or something that can be fixed quickly?

That actually sounds more common than you’d think. A clogged drain pump, faulty lid switch, or even a small sensor issue can cause those exact symptoms. I wouldn’t keep restarting it over and over because that can make things worse. I had a similar problem recently and called GDoing Appliance Repair. The technician diagnosed it pretty quickly and fixed it during the first visit without trying to push extra repairs.
