Whilst Glamping in Tasmania has seen a recent boom, The Cove decided to give it a try and unfortunately while our Lillico Bell tents were amazing, The prevailing winds from the west had other ideas ;) and we were forced to think outside the box to offer our guests a better experience while staying with us. The Cove can be a windy place and when the wind blows, It really blows - We love windy days though as it transfroms the Bass Stait and creates huge waves that crash on the shores below. It can be quite a sight.
We decided to replace all three tents with pernament structures. We wanted a room type that stood out, One where you still felt connected with nature, with a cosy, glamping style feel.
Cheviot was created and with feed back from previous guests these A-Frame style rooms all feature a private toilet with hand basin. Cheviot One features a full ensuite and all Cheviot feature twin skylights so you can watch the night sky from the comfort of your bed. We cant wait to have everyone experience a night in Cheviot
