Best places in Bristol, PA for state inspections and emissions tests
I've been putting off my state inspection and emissions test for too long and really need to get it done this week. I moved to Bristol, PA a few months ago and don’t know which local shops are actually good and won’t try to upcharge me for stuff I don’t need. Anyone have solid recommendations based on actual experience? I’d rather go somewhere that’s straightforward and ASE-certified if possible.

I’ve lived in Bristol for over 10 years and the place I always go to is VIP Service Center. They’re located right in town, and what I like most is they don’t nickel-and-dime you. Last year, I took my Toyota in for the annual check and emissions test, and they told me exactly what needed attention (spoiler: nothing urgent), without pushing unnecessary repairs. The mechanics are ASE-certified and actually explain things in plain English. Plus, the waiting area is surprisingly clean for an auto shop.
